Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Rise ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit and use our platform. This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and store some information about your preferences or past actions.

We also use similar technologies such as:

  • Local Storage: Data stored in your browser's local storage for remembering preferences
  • Session Storage: Temporary data stored during your browser session

3. Types of Cookies We Use

3.1. Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function properly. They enable:

  • User authentication and session management
  • Remembering your login status
  • Maintaining security and preventing fraud
  • Storing your consent preferences

Legal basis: Necessary for the performance of the contract (providing the Service) and cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.

Retention: Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent authentication cookies may be stored for up to 30 days or until you log out.

3.2. Functional Cookies

These cookies enhance the functionality of the Service by remembering your preferences:

  • Display preferences and theme settings
  • Recently viewed content
  • Form input data (to prevent data loss)

Retention: Typically stored for up to 12 months or until you clear your browser data.

3.3. Measurement and Attribution

We use first-party browser storage, cookies, and event records to understand how visitors arrive at our marketing pages and move through our funnels. The rise_vid cookie contains a random visitor identifier and is stored for up to 365 days. The rise_last_touch session storage entry keeps campaign details for the current browser session. A normalized email entered for a pending conversion may be held briefly in session storage and is removed after an error or confirmation. A confirmed email may remain queued until the attribution script is ready.

The records may include UTM parameters, advertising campaign, ad set, ad and placement identifiers, page path, referrer, engagement time, scroll progress, and video progress. After a successful form, registration, or verified checkout, the visitor identifier can be linked to the normalized email address used for that conversion. The attribution script is delivered through a Netlify-hosted Rise sales attribution service. A pseudonymous visitor identifier may also be passed to our GHL booking embed to connect a later booking to the earlier visit.

We also use SiteBehaviour to measure site behaviour and receive custom funnel and interaction events. Our first-party funnel measurement, including the Rise sales attribution service, and SiteBehaviour are currently active when you visit the relevant public pages, independently of the optional analytics preference.

3.4. Optional Advertising Measurement

Meta, Google, and TikTok measurement technologies are loaded only after you accept analytics cookies. These services help us understand campaign performance and conversions. You can change this preference through the cookie controls available on the site.

4. Purpose of Cookie Use

  • Authentication: To identify you when you log in and maintain your session
  • Security: To protect against unauthorized access and fraudulent activity
  • Preferences: To remember your settings and preferences
  • Performance: To ensure the Service loads quickly and functions properly
  • Payment Processing: To enable secure payment transactions
  • Attribution: To connect visits and funnel activity to marketing campaigns
  • Site Behaviour: To understand navigation, interaction, and video engagement

5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have control over cookies. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

5.1. Browser Settings

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Cookies and website data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Cookies and site permissions

5.2. Measurement Preferences

Rejecting optional analytics cookies prevents Meta, Google, and TikTok measurement technologies from loading. It does not currently disable our first-party funnel measurement, the Rise sales attribution service, or SiteBehaviour. You can block or clear cookies and session storage through your browser settings. Blocking browser storage may affect these measurements and parts of the Service that rely on browser storage.

6. Cookie Retention Periods

  • Session Cookies: Deleted when you close your browser
  • Authentication Cookies: Typically stored for up to 30 days or until you log out
  • Preference Cookies: Stored for up to 12 months
  • Consent Cookies: Stored for up to 12 months to remember your cookie preferences
  • Anonymous Campaign Attribution: Stored in your browser for up to 90 days
  • rise_vid: Stored for up to 365 days
  • rise_last_touch, pending conversion email, and queued identity data: Deleted when the browser session ends

7. Do Not Track Signals

We do not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals at this time, as there is no standard interpretation. You can manage your preferences through your browser's cookie settings as described above.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you of significant changes through the Service or via email.
