Rise is a music career and education platform. The platform offers memberships, live sessions, courses, tools, and digital products from the Store.
By placing an order or activating a membership, you agree to this Refund Policy. This policy applies to all purchases made through the Rise platform.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days of completing the transaction, without giving a reason.
Important: This right of withdrawal expires as soon as you access or use digital content or a service, as this constitutes the start of delivery with your explicit consent.
Memberships can be cancelled according to the offer terms and, where available, through your account settings.
Existing order and accounting records retain their original payment method, unit label, and refund treatment. These immutable records are used for support and statutory reporting and do not create a new general purchase balance.
Sessions are reserved time slots in the Rise platform. Each session includes access to a shared digital workspace with notes, session history, and progress tracking — delivered entirely within the platform.
A Sessietegoed entitlement may be returned when:
The service entitlement is forfeited when:
Rescheduling: You may reschedule a session without losing the service entitlement up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Track-feedback orders follow the same service-order rules. A Feedbacktegoed entitlement is specific to track feedback and cannot be exchanged for another service or a cash balance.
Digital products from the Rise Store (samples, presets, templates, and similar assets) are generally non-refundable after download or activation, as the digital content is immediately accessible upon delivery.
Exception: If a digital product is demonstrably defective or does not function as described due to a technical error on our part, we will provide a replacement or refund through the original payment method.
Courses and educational video content are non-refundable once any content has been accessed or viewed.
The 14-day EU right of withdrawal (section 2) applies to course purchases, provided that no content has been accessed. Accessing any lesson or video constitutes the start of digital delivery and the right of withdrawal expires at that point.
In the event of repeated platform outages or verified technical errors attributable to Rise, affected orders or service entitlements will be refunded or restored through the original payment or entitlement path — regardless of the specific policies above. We stand behind the reliability of our platform, and you will not be penalized for issues caused by our infrastructure.

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. EU consumer rights — including the right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive — always apply to consumers residing in the European Union, regardless of any other provisions in this policy.
